So installation takes longer with a SSD drive? What's the point in buying one then. If it takes 21 minutes to install DMC4 on the stock hard drive why would you pay hundreds of dollars for a SSD hard drive that will increase that time to 32 minutes? Or have Gamespot made an error here? What's going on?
You know what else is funny? I can remember when the 360 first came out. All the PS3 fanboys were calling it Xbox 1.5. Saying the games were like last gens. They were saying how much better the PS3 was gonna be and how much better the games would look. LOLOLOLOLOL. Damn that's funny.
Why do they keep saying they don't feel the hard-drive installation on PS3 gave any benefits over the load times of the Xbox 360? It isn't meant to. The reason you have to install some of the game is because the Blu-ray laser can't read the disc fast enough to keep up with modern games. Blu-ray discs aren't read as fast as DVD. Fact. Some games, like Oblivion, have duplicate data on the disc so it's easier for the laser to find it. That's what the extra space of a Blu-ray disc was used for. So they could put the same game, on one disc, multiple times. LOL
I owned the 360 and PS3 versions of Assassins Creed for a while. The PS3 version looked better. I don't know why the 360 version looks better in this comparison. Maybe they got the pictures mixed up.
