If I remember correctly, Ashely (who's username on GF I forget now... lol) I think said for you guys to invite me, and next thing I know, I have a PM on my inbox asking me to join. :) I know I'm not very active (what with final year of school and lots of work going on, etc.) I still poke around here and there, and I see some of you guys on the internets (FB, twitter, IG, etc.) Some of you guys have become good friends and some of ya, I still don't know. :P

I overall remember seeing you guys before I joined, and thinking everyone was pretty chill. A good group of people who made posting on SW fun, back when SW was a lot more fun... :D

All I have seen really from this is the usual "Play it safe" routine they do. Tweak up some numbers, make some new maps with new hazards, put out the same combat engine we've had since MW 4 but make the way you progress/equip different again. What I don't understand is how this can be their top dog franchise, and yet for next-gen it looks just the same as the others. Unimpressive and really discerning to see a series as big as this not get the "Big" treatment in next-gen. I'll pass on this one for sure. I bought Blops 2 and stopped playing after about 2 weeks. Finished the campaign in a day, and moved to MP which didn't hold me up enough. Ghost's just looks to do the same.

Looks like I'll buy when it's on sale for Steam. I'm playing through SR 3 right now actually, and I'm loving it. The game is no-nonsense and has a goofy style to it, but I love it for that. Character creation is really fun, and overall in short bursts, the game is a blast to play around. I'm more interested in the story (so far) because it doesn't take itself serious and has fun. I do have to say though, I hate the Insurance Fraud missions... stupid annoying. That's my negative gripe with the game so far, and trying to beat those so I can complete my map control of a region is like trying to rub my balls with steel wool.

Still need to finish other games that were put on hold over the last four months. (Stupid senior project stuff!)

[QUOTE="charizard1605"][QUOTE="yoshi_64"][QUOTE="charizard1605"] It doesn't matter, the symbolic value of EA not supporting the Wii U was enough to make its prospects look dire. Now that's no longer an issue.

YEs, when EA said they weren't making games for Wii U, it was really beginning to make things look grim a bit for Wii U. Activision isn't showing too much support still on Wii U, but Ubisoft is. I do like that they are, but the big three have only 1 of the three throwing their backs into the system. That still isn't good frankly. Nintendo's console has primarily always been a system for NIntendo games, with exceptions to some very solid 3rd party IPs here and there. With that said... Xbox 1 I think failed to capture the gaming audience like many were hoping for. PS4 and Xbox 1 still have no revealed their price, and I feel that will be their downfall or slow start. Wii U can catch up, if it can get games out by the time these systems launch, and when they go through their very own launch slump (every system does) and attract gamers with games on a cheaper system. This means it should get more multi-platform support titles like Watch Dogs, Call of Duty, Fifa, and Madden games. It should have more Activision/Blizzard, EA, along with Ubisoft support, and those Nintendo titles that will push out the system.

The new Call of Duty is already coming on Wii U, Activision can't do more than that :P

Is it? I haven't seen any updated news confirmations, but if so, I retract that statement. Frankly, if the Wii U, despite now likely being the least powerful of the upcoming three, still obtains those exclusives, I think I'll be fine when I just have an upgraded PC (later this year) and Wii U for a while. I still want a PS4 and Xbox One someday, but... I'm not rushing out, especially on the One.

[QUOTE="yoshi_64"]Unless there's a Mirror's Edge 2, I can't see myself buying another EA game for a while. Also, sometimes I still don't know how to react, with Riccitello gone, I don't know where this company will go. Will it go back to licensing products to make games and iterate tired and unoriginal IPs? charizard1605

That's a good eye. I never paid attention to that XD but I'm excited. It looks like there is a chat box and MP, I hope it will have voice chat too though. It could be an MMO style game, and that's fine by me. :D

Devs, if you just add me Off-Screen play on my GamePad, I'll buy that game over any other port (PC or console.) Off-screen play really is a buying point for me personally, since I don't have to give up my gaming session if the family wants to watch a movie or something.
