Poll Do you spend a lot of time on the character creator? (45 votes)

Yup 29%
Nope 71%

I can't enjoy a game with a character creator if my character isn't looking 10/10. Every single game, i spend at least 40 minutes in the character creator, and very often over an hour. Its a disease and i can't do anything about it.

Heck no. I usually just try to make my character a skinny, hot, undressed naked female and then off I go like a prom dress!

Not really. I don't particularly care about it because it's rare to see the face of the character you're creating. You mainly see them from behind. I don't understand why games like Oblivion, Skyrim and Starfield had such a deep character creation mode because you don't even see it (they're played in first person). OlliOlli World has a good character creation feature and it's not a first person game, but even then, I didn't particularly care about it.

Thinking back I did spend a lot of time in Skyrim messing with the character creation. Was pointless really because it's 1st person.

@hardwenzen: I feel bad for you because YouTube doesn't allow you to create or edit characters :(

The PC version has some very good "execution" mods that would jump to a cinematic finisher.

Modders in general put more thought into the combat system than Bethesda did.

Even stuff like their shat out the door VR that will be £39.99 please version.

I get that if you're playing vanilla, but Modded skyrim, played in 3rd person with animations packs and combat overhauls is truly something to behold.

Yes, if I can't make a character as ugly as physically possible then I can't be asked to start a game.
