Ridley Scott has been abit shit in recent years and even jump back tried to replicate Gladiator a few times and just flat out failed at it.

Not that if ever needed a sequel, but if it did, they already had a backstory set up.

But yea, even if it's garbage Denzel will elevate it by default.

Yup, would've liked seeing a prequel of his story, and i've been hearing people ask for it for over 15 years at this point.

Gladiator was a movie that excelled on it's own, and certainly did not need a sequel/prequel/any-other-fucking-quel.

When the dialogue in this film is entirely grunts and moans, it's going to be a real cinematic experience and I can tell you that from the trailer alone.

That's why I think it was made for you, because it will be educational how Sasquatch has sex and sniff skunk ass, and I'm all for it.
