I think for me it’s Xbox One. It was weaker than the PS4 and once Microsoft announced that all first party games were coming to PC, it felt redundant. Also, it was generally a big step down from the Xbox 360, which had a competitive library and features. How about you, SW? What was your least favorite game system of the ones you owned?

Wii-U. Didn't have much support and the reliance of the gimmicky controller made it worse.

The Xbox One felt redundant and you supposedly bought a Series X.😂

The 3DO. I struggle to really think of anything that was worthwhile to play on that dud of a system.

You two are easily triggered 🤣 Yep, the Xbox One was quite redundant. Not only was my PS4 more powerful, but I also had a PC that could play those games at the time. I still have that PC, and my XSX is obviously more powerful, and I also got 3 years of GamePass for the same price as Live.

Yep! We are triggered because you purchased the Series X when you deem the Xbox One as your least favorite system because all the games are on PC and it is redundant.😂

The PSP. I just didn't really like most of the games on it in the end. It used discs too which led to long loading screens in many games (not great for a portable) and the controls were such that ports from other systems were be difficult. I remember occasionally booting it up, getting the latest firmware, maybe streaming something from my PS3 (more for the novelty at the time) then leaving it off for another age. The Vita was just so much better imho. I miss the Vita :(.

The Tiger Game.com. Yes...i admit it. I owned one. Yes...it was my idea to get it. I didn't get it as a surprise gift. Look....i was young, ok? I was young and I did stupid things from time to time.

Least favorite would probably be the Wii. Aside from Wii Sports, I didn't get much use out of it. I did try that Deadly Creatures game, sucks that game is stuck on the Wii and not preserved on PC

@Archangel3371: Hey, Return Fire was prime gaming back then. But yeah, I spent an absolute fortune on an imported 3do, and was so ignorant that I didn’t know that it plugged into a socket which my old tv didn’t have…..actually bought a new tv for that piece of crap.

I liked the idea of the Wiiu. But agreed....so few games really made good use of the second screen. Some games could really benefit from that second screen but Nintendo don't reallymake those types of games. Zombie U and Nintendo Land were really only the ones with good ideas.

Racing games, something like Elite or the X space sims and Strategy games for example.

I can get behind Xbox One being a good answer if you also owned a PS4 or PC. I didn't and needed it to experience the multiplats last gen. While its "console exclusive" lineup fell off from the 360 gen it still had some great stuff- Halo MCC, Halo 5, Forza Horizon 3 and 4, Ori's, Cuphead, Rare Replay.

WiiU is my answer. I gave it to my nephew after 2 years. Nintendoland, Pikmin 3, Mario 3D World, and Mario Kart 8 were good fun, but it just had so little support and so little to look forward to. Of course the Switch basically replaced it. Of course now I kinda wish I had one lol, would be great to have Windwaker and Twilight Princess, plus have loaded it with great Virtual Console games before the eshop was taken down, and actually be able to PLAY THEM WHENEVER I WANT WITHOUT A STUPID SUBSCRIPTION XD

The Nintendo Switch. I only bought it for Xenoblade 2 and obviously its a shit game. Oh did I mention its also a game made by pedos for pedos. Never gave enough love to the system I just got better options in PC and PS. Few weeks ago I found the console after few years of idk where I missplaced it and even then I didnt even bother turning it on. Put it in a case and stored it.

I loved the vita it was my PS1/PSP machine but you are right... I only have physical box for Freedom Wars, P4G, Gravity Rush, Toukiden and FFX (due to cross save with console ver). Idk if I played helldivers on it I am sure it was a crossbuy title.

Probably the Xbox One since I literally couldn't have turned it on more than two or three times. The Switch and Wii U are slightly above it, because I at least completed one game on each.

Acorn Electron.

While it has nostalgia value as my first computer, it kind of sucked. Games were on tapes that took ages to boot up.

I have to go with the GameCube overall. It wasn't completely terrible, but it was a low point even if it had a couple/few games enjoyed.

3DO and PS4

It was fun finding 3DO games at pawnshops, but most of them sucked. But it did have a pretty sweet music visualizer.

PS4 has some good stuff, but it had the most back-to-back duds for me. Most of that is on the games and not the system, but it's the same time frame where I stopped liking games.

I don't own a PS5, or that might be my choice.

@Pedro: Yeah. Reskinned GameCube with half-working waggle controls. After the sturdy as hell GC, was weird to get such a plastic feeling console. Being my first ever console to break just from being used didn't help either. Wii U was better, hardware wise.

Ah yeah it did have some good games alright. B2, XCX, BOTW (i'm one of the dozens with that version :P), Mario Maker, MK8, Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101 and some others. It's just those games would have been fine on other systems too. Sure all bar XCX are on the switch now. They didn't need the wiius extra tricks to do anything interesting.

I'm happy with my wiiu purchase also but, when i bought it, i managed to get the console brand new for 50 quid or something. I basically used a combination of deals from Nintendo and gamestop at the time to nab the console and 6 games for the MSRP of the console alone. Did i get my 50 quids worth of use out of it? Absolutely: XCX alone would have done that.

Atari 2600. My first gaming system, hand me down from the older bro. Some good memories, but eh, didn't care much for the games.

Modern systems, tossup between PS4 and XBoneX. Neither were bad, just at that point most everything I wanted was coming to PC. So my PS4 was a Bloodborne box and my XboneX was a NGB/NG2 box. Haven't bothered buying their new boxes.

Realistically it's probably some handheld. Would always buy these, they'd end up in a drawer a week later, then eventually just give them away. PSP topping the list of least used.

Sega Genesis. Mostly because I never played it.

Of the systems I played, the Original Xbox. And it was fun, but not as fun as the other purchases. I only played Dynasty Warriors 3, Fable, and Jet Set Radio on it. They were fun games, but the other systems I've purchased have offered me more.

I blame that console for the rise of movie games. It had the worst controller ever, (especially at launch). As an online gaming console it trailed miles behind the 360. There was nothing I liked about that console.

The worst system I own is the Wii, what a waste of a space that system is.

I haven't really owned any bad consoles. My least favorite was probably the Saturn, but I still got a lot of enjoyment out of Virtua Fighter 2, Sega Rally, NHL2K, Iron Storm and more. The 3D graphics were rough, Daytona in particular disappointed me. The arcade was still way ahead of consoles at that time.
