@mooglestar: It's been reported that the PS5 has sold 52 million units while Xbox Series X/S has sold 27 million units, so are you saying there is no money to be made by Sony on a console that has a 27 million userbase? considering Sony's own games have less than a 20% attachment rates.

MS releases games on PC aswell as Xbox, so technically they don't need 50 million PS5 users when they have over 100 million PC users.

I've been gaming for nearly 40yrs, I love to PLAY games, not WATCH the story. developers are trying to turn video games into cinematic experiences where it feels like you're playing just to get to the next cutscene.

So yeah a crap story is a plus, it means they've spent less on the narrative and more time on the gameplay/gunplay which will be great.

I have a saying for those who want a good story, go watch a movie as gameplay is king.
