@Archangel3371: So avoiding the question I see. I will ask again, how many Sega consoles and games have you owned & played to judge that Nintendo's games are better for you to "call it as you see it"

Or are you going to ignore that question again?

@luxuryheart: You're not helping your cause, Bayonetta is Platinum. Metroud is still cartoony, and the other one is still a cartoony game also.

Can you name one Nintendo made game that is geared towards an adult audience that kids shouldn't play?

Nintendo only make games for the whole family, that is my problem with Nintendo.

Sony get a lot of 💩 for its third person action adventure template (and rightfully so) and yet Nintendo never gets called out for its family games template. Nintendo are still making the same games they did 40yrs ago albeit with slightly better graphics and changes in gameplay, but still the same characters and premise.

I get that people love that, but they're not for everyone even though they claim to be for the whole family they're not.

Bayonetta is still a mature game that's not for kids, and Nintendo had a hand in helping them make it for the Wii U. Shin Megami is basically mature Pokemon.

Nintendo doesn't make the same type of games. Mario Kart is a racing game, Splatoon is a 3rd person shooter, Zelda is an open world action-adventure game, Pokemon is an RPG, Mario and Kirby are platformers, Smash is a fighting game, Mario Party is a party game, Mario Tennis and Switch Sports are sports games, etc. Their games are diverse.

I mean, do things really need to be ultra realistic graphics with blood and guts and sex oozing all over the place to appeal to adults? It kind of just seems like those kids who watch Family Guy and think they're mature. 😕

Bayonetta was released years ago by Platinum, well before the Switch, the other 2 games are made by Platinum and published by Nintendo. The other game is not a Nintendo game either.

Then the games with Mario in them, all family games, and Nintendo putting Mario in them, no variety.

Splatoon is the perfect example, third person "shooter" where you shoot paint on the ground, kids stuff, nothing mature about it.

No its not all about blood & guts or even sex, its about doing something different.

The last game released by Nintendo was a 2D Mario game, they've been doing that for some 40yrs now, they NEVER change to appeal to a broader audience.

I own a ton of Nintendo's consoles/handhelds, but there comes a point when you go, do I wanna play another Mario game for the 500th time.

And some will take this as i'm just a hater or salty or whatever, but the Switch is the only Nintendo device I haven't bought from Nintendo, and I won't be buying anything from them going forward because they haven't evolved and just rely on the same old stuff over & over again.

@last_lap: I am not sure why all of a sudden you care about this since we all know you don't care for gaming PCs. So what do you gain from all of this?

It's a forum, and its where we have discussions about everything including things we don't own or care about. You don't own a Series X, but you still talk about Xbox right?

You made this thread claiming it to be a success, the post you made is very misleading when it says single player when the game also has multiplayer. When it's shown as 72k players on Steam, but Steam has 132 million active users somehow that's a success. If this was on console then it would be called a massive failure by everyone, and yet PC has a bigger userbase with less sales of the game and yet it's a success, doesn't that seem strange to you?

@last_lap: Says I post with Nintendo goggles yet posts stuff like, “Sega games will always be better then Nintendo’s” and “Grown men like you still fanboy that garbage”.

Never said Nintendo didn’t have ups and downs but guess what, they’re still making hardware, selling more games then ever, doing better then they ever have, and are much more relevant then Sega. That’s just the facts. 🤷‍♂️

Tell me you’re salty about Nintendo remaining more relevant then Sega without telling me you’re salty about Nintendo remaining more relevant then Sega. 🤣😂

Oh, the old I don't want to debate so i'm gonna go your salty route. I'd wager that I own more Nintendo hardware than you do, but, but, salty.

I still own them and have played a large portion of Nintendo's library, how many of Sega's consoles do you own and how much of Sega's library of games have you played?

But, but salty, yeah I know.

You're known as mr positivity here, and yet when it comes to Sega all you do is talk down about them, seems you're the salty one for some reason, I wonder why Sega gets your wrath hmmm.

@onesiphorus: It was a joke dude I thought the laughing emoji was a dead giveaway.

But I will humour you just for a second, Shiver Entertainment is an American developer, so the FTC could block it lol.

You know what I want to see that happen now just for the shits and giggles, what have you done 🤣

@Archangel3371: Well, well someone seems to be posting with his Nintendo goggles on.

You act like Nintendo have been the best throughout the years. The Gamecube & Nintendo 64 both failed, sold tens of millions less than the SNES. Struck gold with the gimmicky Wii, absolutely tanked with the Wii U, and struck gold again with the gimmicky Switch.

But, but it's games gets critical success with reviewers and sell well, yeah use that argument when Nintendo does well forgets it when they dont, typical sheep.

What an embarrassment when the Switches highest selling game is a Wii U remaster, but, but critical reviews, sales etc, now you sound like a cow lol.

Games are what matter and Sega evolved with the times and made games in just about every genre, while Nintendo didn't.

Sega ganes will always be better than Nintendo's.

Yes Nintendo's last game was a 2D Mario game, they were doing that 40yrs ago. But grown men like you still fanboy that garbage, no wonder Nintendo will never evolve.

As long as Nintendo continue to make gimmicky hardware they will still be around, if they try another traditional console they will fail again.

@Archangel3371: Nintendo's latest first party release was a 2d Mario game was it not?
