What I should buy, Far Cry 3 or Dishonored ?

I havent played Dishonored yet, but FC3 is probably the best fps game to date.

The story can be quite short and a little out of place, but there is an incredible amount of replay value on to the game, you can play co-op, play multiplayer, kill more bad guys, climb more radio towers. I think well Dishonored does look promising, I would go with Far Cry 3.

Dishonored or Assassins Creed 3?

I would recommend Resonance of Fate. It´s a little older, 2009, I think, but it´s really good.

i recently got the platinum on Okami HD. if you like adventure games like Legend of Zelda then id say go for it

I'm a huge DC comics fan and was wondering how Lego Batman 2: DC Superheroes is. How much is there to do in the open world and how well implemented are the different heroes?

I would wait until the 20th, if they do reveal the PS4 we will know what's up and if it will be backwards compatible.  If it's not then yes buy a PS3 because you don't want to miss out on the games it has.

I can tell you that Demons Souls is the best RPG.

You should check out the Infamous Collection, Uncharted series and Motorstorm Pacific Rift and Apocalyspe 

I plan on buying a PS3 after holding off to see if the PS4 would have BC, but am going to try and wait for a price drop.

My main question is how is the used games market for PS3 games? I know Blu-Rays have a stronger surface versus DVD's when it comes to scratches, but do people often run into trouble or is it a pretty safe bet? I'm looking to cut costs, but will most likely pick up the franchise collections in brand new condition if the price is right.

I'm also curious what some underrated/obscure games are? Below are the games I'm interested in and think I covered most of the big must have games and franchises:

Hello all.

This is not exactly a game question but Ill post it anyway. I was thinking of getting a PS3 mainly for the exclusives I've missed over the past 5 years. I've been skeptical though since the next gen consoles are just around the corner and Im not sure its smart buying one just as the industry is about to switch over to newer consoles.

Getting a PS4 when it releases and playing PS3 games on it via their streaming service is out of the question though. I'd definitely wait if the PS4 had native backwards compatibility support and get that instead but it looks like that's not gonna happen. So, getting a PS3 this late - yay or nay? And if so, how important is HDD space on it really?
