Except no one is denying this, They caused poor trends. Good games (not that CoD is one of them) have caused poor trends before. Resident Evil 4 is a classic, not every horror IP needed to try to be an action horror title tho.

Halo similarly good game, but while regen health/shield and two weapon systems made sense for the type of game halo was, wasn't something that added anything to other IPs.

And There is no way Medal of Honor and its ilk aren't also part of the dumbing down of FPS games, when its such a stripped down FPS. Imagine a mouse n keyboard shooter with simpler gunplay than console ass Halo, and then going "mah skill", get out.

And guy, you bite on Ghosts comments before he even name drops you. YOu know damn well he is like talking to a brick wall, and you still bite on his comments at every opportunity. Ghost is too stupid to be holding the L, you all the are the ones that end up holding the L for falling for his behavior on a consistent basis.

Just watched sonic 2. Its ok. I think first one is better. But jim carrey has more robotnick look than first one.

Human characters suck, useless. They copy and paste sonic and knuckes storyline.

half life 2 episode 4 return to ravenholm - 60 mins of footage from arkane's ravenholm game that valve pulled the plug on midway through development. takes place after hl2 but before ep2. looks a bit dated in places and the footage framerate's a bit stuttery but still, a half life game, by arkane, returning to ravenholm... oh what might have been 🤤

Was enjoying Turok 2, the bullshit level design starting to get abit annoying now.

Not sure if it wasn't tested for the harder difficulties but multiple times now where just walk into a room and get instantly killed by spawning (or otherwise) enemies out of your vision.

Hate that shit in FPS. Don't mind enemies getting the jump on the player if you have a legit chance to react, but bullshit like that just amounts to hitting the quick-load button to jump back 3 steps just to know exactly where they will spawn. Not fun. No skill. Just annoying.

Should get my PS5 on Thursday next week - will be nice to get my disney+ back if nothing else since my PS4 started dying. I'm excited to play Astro's though, and get R&C and/or HFW this Fall

Looks like my NAS just powered through the first power loss since plugging in the UPS three days ago. I woke up ten minutes after, to a hard wind outside. Only knew the power went out because the PS4 and PC were sleeping and had to be powered up cold after. At least I already know it works. Plugged in the router too, so that I can hopefully power off the NAS from my phone during an outage that lasts longer than two or three minutes. Most of them are very brief.

Eh, she looked her age in Annihilation. Reminds me of Keannu Reeves, everyone always joking about him not ageing, but he DOES look like a man in his fifties. At least she pumped up her arms for the role somewhat. I don't know anything about Thor.

The really long applause this actor got during his intro in the beginning of Married season 7 was weird. Only ever saw/heard him in Scrooged and Hercules and didn't find his high voice that big of a deal. Don't wanna look him up, but I'm guessing Saturday Night Live or something. Scrooged came out in 1988 and Hercules in 1997. Is this really the only shtick he did for a whole decade?
