Polygons are nice and all but I'll happily take a hit on geometry in upcoming games if it means they can reproduce these kinds of effects at decent framerates. Stunning. Now just need a huge price cut on hardware.

Wouldn't really take offense, I don't go around bad mouthing them even here, other than them banning me for 2 weeks. Because at the end of the day, as inane as they can get, at the least they are getting inane over some admirable causes. Even Visions thread or Renegade Fury's thread, because contrary to this forums opinion, they are a lot closer to a sniper take than they realize, most people like the idea that they don't play shallow games. So went back and played The Witcher: Enhanced Edtion and one thing that's really immersion breaking, that seems to be in all of them, you can just go into peoples house and take all their stuff while they are right there in front of you.

Because you can just hit ALT as well, it highlights everything, so unless you force yourself it never really feels like your exploring or being rewarded for it. Just a mundane action done.

Something Gothic does really well. Goes as far as to not give you a map early game so everything is a mystery that filters through with experience. And even when you get a map, it's in sections, so you can find yourself wandering off the map page itself giving a genuinely wonderful frontier feeling of uncharted territory.

Don't think ever seen a game so bad, and so good as the same time. One minute your shaking your head at the sheer awfulness the next your engrossed like a meth user desperate for another hit.

Could never use reddit or 4chan, the design is like something from 2001 Geocity days. Saying that this forum ain't exactly fairing better, it seems any update they put in, is almost purposefully designed o troll users.

Holy shit, That Mandalorian trailer got me super hype then Episode 9 ever did for me, I'm more excited for that instead of Episode 9. This November, we got Jedi Fallen Order & The Mandalorian on the same month, I'm back to being Star Wars fan again....but not Episode 9 I'm afraid.

That new star wars game looks like trash.

@jg4xchamp: Naughty Dog games in general have shallow gameplay, but I don't mind that at all. Ironically, I seem to be very forgiving with gameplay if the story or overall experience is good (ex: I love so-called walking simulators). I don't doubt that gameplay is the distinguishing aspect of the medium and I definitely appreciate it when it's done very well, but it isn't the most important factor for me.
