Seeing Warframe coming to Switch got me to look at the game again after 4-5 years of not really caring about it. I first played it when it was released on PS4 for like 2 hours or so.

Looks like its changed quite a bit, and definitely for the better. Installing on Steam now.

Streaming isn't viable yet in several parts of the world so it will probably be awhile.

Don't quote me on this but I do know that Amazon has AZs in several countries (I got some of my S3/EC2 backup dev stuff in other countries for instance), and are adding more in time, but that is still something that is limited just by the rest of the country not keeping up to par.

I didn't really notice it. I don't think it had any impact on me whatsoever even in a subconscious sense.

Honestly from what I've seen it does look really cool.

So how is it? Haven't read too many opinions on it.

I used to play TF2 religiously back in college and high school (Spy/Scout ftw) so Overwatch (Tracer/Reaper ftw) wins this one so easily imo.

I wouldn't say it is the same thing but it definitely reminded me of TF2 from many years ago. I just really like class shooters I guess.

Tough choice. It was either GoW and Bloodborne for me.

Went for Bloodborne though since I did like it a tad better I think. Honestly its close enough to where I could change my mind any day depending on my mood lol.

Eh I like lurking in ResetERA. There are some good people there, but also plenty of not so good ones.

Since I tend to only go into Nintendo topics, I've gotten to see posts from several migrated users, from NeoGAF (even before that iirc in GameFAQs and such) to the new place. Most of them are good, some are total Nintendrones imo (if that's even a word nowadays haha), some are a little inching towards the troll side, and then you got the guys that are just there to piss people off.

I guess since I know the users a little over the years that makes me a creep since I have never signed up for NeoGAF nor ResetERA lol.

Looks fun but it's not really my thing. I know crazy opinion right? Still though I'll probably buy it because it's Pokemon.

I can kind of see not needing to battle Pokemon to catch them because honestly I never cared for fighting Pokemon unless needed. I rarely actually catch Pokemon and only fought them every once in a while to level up, so I guess that sucks I guess. I bet though they will have a system to help the loss of getting EXP from fighting probably by giving EXP by catching and/or giving more EXP from trainers, and/or lowering trainer levels for Pokemon. I don't know... something like that kind of stuff to ease new (or old haven't played in forever I guess) players into the game which is exactly what this game is made for.

The thing that really does bug me is that it literally looks like a spot on remake for the most part at least from my standards. The coop function is cool but never going to be used. Pokemon Go I played for like a few minutes just to see what it was about, but its not my thing so that's not going to be used for this. The only thing left (so far shown at least) is pretty much a straight gen 1 remake, which just isn't enough honestly.

If they would have added more Pokemon from older regions and gave more variation to Kanto then this would definitely have been near the top of my list for games I want this year. Signs are pointing to it not even coming close though sadly.

2019 version should be fun though. :)

Hobbyist stuff like Labo is a slow burn kind of product so I wouldn't worry about it.
