Like seriously, the guy's Wikipedia article called him the first recorded foreign-born samurai until the trailer dropped, then someone edited the article and started a culture war about it.

So I missed it in yesterday's court adventures (where Cohen detailed every aspect of Trump's intention to pay hush money to ilegally influence the election, and Trump's knowledge of the cover-up attempt to hide those payments)...

...but at one point yesterday, Trump's lawyer said that they don't have any rebuttal witnesses at the moment. They're thinking of bringing in an expert witness next week, but they might not even do that.

What does that mean?

It means Trump doesn't want to testify.

This explains why he's in such a tantrum about the gag order (which doesn't stop him testifying, but tricks his cult into thinking he is being silenced) and why he needs his minions to front the media in front of the courthouse (because he wants to spread his version of events without anyone fact-checking him).

It's pathetic, but nothing new for Mr Trump.

In other news, I missed that Judge Canon has postponed the documents trial by at least another 2 months.

That's fine though. If Trump wins the election, Biden should just postpone any transition of power until Trump has been cleared of all charges. You can't give someone classified documents while they are on trial for criminally mishandling classified documents, and you can't allow someone to be president if they can't be trusted with classified documents.

Trump is famous for never paying for any services rendered to him. He asks his lawyers to sacrifice their careers to help him, then he doesn't pay them and cuts them loose. He stays at a resort, he doesn't pay anything. He rents venues for his rallies, and he refuses to pay them.

That's Trump in a nutshell. He leeches off everyone else for personal profit, and he gives absolutely nothing back voluntarily. It never crosses his mind that he owes anything to anyone. He simply doesn't care about people less powerful than himself.

So, uh, why do people support him again? He won't ever help you. He'll promise you anything so that you'll give him power, but it'll never occur to him to give anything back. He doesn't care about you, no matter how above average you think you might be. That's not his nature.

@ghostofgolden: Tanking the user reviews will hurt future sales, and drag Sony into the media spotlight. It also helps create a bandwagon for people to irrationally hate Sony, and if there's one thing online communities love, it's jumping full-force onto a bandwagon.

This will also result in a bunch of refund requests, I'm sure. Probably not massive numbers, but that will also have an effect on Sony.

There's so many things that make Zelda games click that I just don't get from the Soulsbornering games.

I think they could make a good Zelda spin-off, if they had a lot of help from Nintendo.

But still, From Software's strength is in its swordplay and big flashy boss fights. Zelda games feature so much more than that. So I don't think From Software would be a great fit for the IP, unless they're making a wildly different spin-off game (like Hyrule Warriors).

So a few days ago, Trump told the media that he wasn't allowed to testify because of his gag order. He asked his lawyer if that was right, his lawyer nodded, and Trump repeated a few times that the gag order was the reason he can't testify.

Well the judge yesterday confirmed that Trump is free to testify, and that the gag order doesn't stop him from testifying. The judge asked Trump to pass that information on to his lawyer, too.

So...the path is clear. There's nothing stopping Trump testifying now. You must be delighted!

In other news, you know the guy who audited Trump's social media company?

Turns out he's a massive fraud, and he has now been barred from auditing public companies.

Isn't it odd how every single person in Trump's orbit is some kind of criminal?
