Hmm, I think i'd go #1. I played quite a bit on the Wii U as it was an innovative fun new IP, and one of my favorite wii u games. However when i got it on the switch, i was kinda like been there, done that. Good game and i see they basically just wanted to build on the original, which they did, I just don't play a ton. Salmon run was a nice addition but it's opened during limited times. The maps are bigger, but bigger doesn't mean better. Haven't played some of the new maps. All in all, they are very close in my opinion. I think a lot of it comes down to controller preference too. I actually liked the Wii U gamepad over both switch console/joy cons and the pro controller. (I mainly just play on the pro when i do) I think another thing that hurts the Switch experience for me, is the unstable connection on the switch vs. the Wii U. Never had any connections issues with Wii U, pS4, xbox, roku, etc... but for some reason the switch receives a poor signal.

PS... i still like my Wii U. : ( great library, VIRTUAL CONSOLE, simple , efficient. It's basically what the switch is but not portable/sleek. The gamepad feels much more comfortable too, compared to the switch gamepad.

I haven't played a monopoly game on any main consoles recently, but the 40$ price tag just seems too steep for me. This game peeked my interest at first with the joy cons as controllers for multiplayer action on one screen. However It's 1$ on ios, for basically the same game. Much like street fighter, i'm just going to wait, and most likely never buy.

no way.... monopoly ios is a barebones monopoly game with old monopoly board from the 90's.

but yea 40$ is steep for someone who doesn't really love monopoly.

I get that the ios version is bare bones, but it's still the basic concept for the game. Guess i would have prefer a digital only release at a cheaper price point. This gets me thinking, i'd like to see a fortune street 2 for the switch. Seems ideal with the local multiplayer.

Surprised there wasn't any threads on Cuphead yet. Literally the best game in probably in the last 12 months for Xbox. Seems like everyone is digging the game, despite the challenge. I like how it's split between boss fights and levels. Think this game could inspire future games in challenge and style. Glad this game lived up to expectations and the wait.

SFV was actually my most played game on the PS4 as well. I like fighting games, by play most all of the others as well. SFV to me, was near flawless in the game play. Playing to earn fight money was never a challenge or annoying, but fun. I get where people say it's a grind, but I've been able to add all 11 released DLC characters without spending any extra money. Sounds like the Arcade version is going to throw in the 12 DLC characters from the first two seasons as well. Also they will include monthly skins.

I went with Stardew Valley, and surprisingly it hooked me almost right away. For what seems like a simple game on the surface, it can get pretty complex, pretty quick. I'll agree with the 9/10 rating after a handful of hours. There are some people experiencing some audio crackling, and sounds like the are already addressing a fix.

I probably would like to still try golf story at some point too. Like schu said, such a unique experience. Plus the golf aspect sounds fun.

Both top on the eshop right now. Both RPG's, Both 15$. One seems more sporty with a unique golf theme RPG, and the other a farming/crafting RPG. Anyone have a recommendation? I'm almost so 50/50 on it, I may skip both.

The glad this is the start of VC games... but 8$ for these doesn't interest me much. Really hope they don't screw over the people that previously bought a lot of VC games on Wii U/3DS. I don't think i can pay 5-10$ per title again.

I got a 128 GB card, and so far it's fine... but i could see the need to expand in the future, especially if i stick with all digital. If you only download nintendo and/or virtual console titles you should be OK..... but if you want the 3rd party stuff the games are like 20-35 GB... so a couple of those will really cripple your space.

I've noticed this too... and it's made me seriously consider getting the game. Reviews seem positive and seems like a fun multiplayer game. I have to imagine this game is selling really well.
