@hrt_rulz01: Yeah, but... I still get a facepalm as to why they didn't show off the Wii U console more in 2011 and 2012 when all the focus was on the Wii U GamePad.

Maybe Nintendo was wise to not hold a conference back in 2013.

After hearing the announcement that E3 is officially gone, I look back and wonder if Nintendo actually made wise decision to not hold a press conference way back in 2013 and onward.

Don't be fooled. There's always a chance Take-Two Interactive is gonna screw up GTA VI.

Look up the prices for Australia and New Zealand. That right there is insanity.

They should've made it 350 bucks. Some people seem dumb enough to pay 200. They'd definitely be dumb enough to pay 350.

You are 100% correct.

It's the same mentality that allows broken games to be released day 1 and loot boxes and microtransactions rule the day.... Gamers have very little self control, discretion and almost no foresight into what they're actually supporting. Gaming companies just have to build some hype and there will be a legion of folks ready to buy c*** in a box.

Whats sad is if this was a dedicated device I'd buy it day 1.

I usually ask myself why gamers have this mentality. Since many here on this forum are dedicated gamers, I assume that the majority of gamers have lack of self-control and discernment is because they do not take gaming seriously and do make a fuss over anti-consumer practices because for them they are not a big deal.

Isn't brand loyalty also a problem?

I think we're forgetting one thing that contributed to the downfall. Deep Silver.

Yup, suits thinking they'd be appealing to the masses.

Who knows what Deep Silver was thinking.

Well, PlayStation Plus is no longer worth it. Was thinking of rejoining, but this just gave me more reason to steer clear the tide.
