@crimsonbrute: I left because there was too much toxicity surrounding political discussions. During the last four years, basic humanity has become politicized (elderly lives versus keeping quarterly GDP afloat is just the latest example, let alone BLM, extrajudicial executions by police or the ever-lasting debate about climate change) and and I refuse to take part in it. It's just too much, so **** trying to "moderate" fascist views, and **** engaging with those who will be remembered as comparable to nazis, of which there were (are?) many on these forums. Either they drag us down forever, in which case my views won't ever matter, or they won't drag us down forever, in which case my views here are validated. Either way, I'm a happier person not engaging with scum and just living my best life.

Toodles.

Okay bruh, go ahead and beat it in under an hour. When you can't, don't come posting here saying it's bullshit for that reason lmao.

I have a huge phobia of snakes. Unexpectedly seeing a picture of a snake can make me feel nauseous, as well is giving me shivers down my spine each time I think of one.

I'm surprised so many people here also mentioned snakes; offline I haven't met many people who mention snakes as a phobia.

@MrGeezer: huh... Uhhh okay well, I'm the kinda guy who lives his life in the present, but certainly with the future in mind, and that includes wanting the best for me, my generation and future generations.

I thought any sane person would want that but I guess I was wrong.

I don't see how extinction of a single species counts as "destroying the Earth." Even if we do starve ourselves into extinction, it seems pretty self-centered to say that the Earth is "destroyed" just because we aren't around any more.

Yet if in both outcomes we're all dead, why split hairs? Maybe work at both keeping us alive and keeping the Earth spherical and sustainable?
