@KungfuKitten:

Agreed. It's a step in the right direction. The PSVR is only going to be capable of console graphics, but plenty of people seem to think that's just hunky dory.

@skipper847:

To get VR on your PS4 you will need the headset ($399) and the camera (~$50). Or you can buy the bundle they recently announced.

Point is, most of us will have to spend between $450 and $500 to get VR on our PS4s. Not quite as cheap as we were led to believe.

Crystal Dynamics are LITERALLY trying to recreate everything from Uncharted 2, a game which xbox fans vocally ripped apart for it's set pieces and linear quick-time gameplay and scripted events.

LMAO and now in 2015 lemmings are lapping it's shameless doppelganger up like a cat on warm milk and have nothing but praise...hahah

elcome to 6 years ago lemmings. We are waiting for you here in 2015.

NEXT

That is when Tomb Raider was Tomb Raider you desperate lem. Watching the demo tells everything you need to konw, it's an UC2 rip.

I wasn't just showing a snow level lol but it's funny how you are trying to deflect from the gameplay parallels it copied from UC2.

Fail, but I see you love a game that is an attempt to copy a game you and your bothers had nothing but criticism for til this date...welcome to 6 years ago.

That's funny, because nearly every aspect of Uncharted was copied from other games. Go back and read the reviews for Uncharted Drake's Fortune, reviewers complained that it was too much an amalgam of elements from other games and didn't really do enough to create a strong identity of its own.

I don't get the hate for remasters. If you don't want them then don't buy them. But they sell so there are consumers that want those games.

I don't actually have a problem with remasters. Let those who want them buy them. What I dislike is the lack of backwards compatibility in my consoles. It's a feature of PC gaming that I find very valuable. I dislike having to start over again when I buy a new console.

I also dislike the hypocrisy and inconsistency of many people in the gaming community on these kinds of issues.

About remasters you say "if you don't like them then don't buy them" and I agree with that idea. But wouldn't that also apply to DLC? Some people act like remasters are fine but then turn around and act like DLC is of the devil. I don't understand this mentality. DLC has never really bothered me. I view it as mostly superfluous stuff that hardcore fans might find valuable, but isn't essential for most of us. In the rare cases when it does look substantial and worthwhile to me, I don't mind paying for it. Basically, I buy the DLC I like and ignore the rest.

I think Lems are just upset that the PS3 had a lot of games that deserve a remaster, unlike the 360 :^)

Lol you cows go through the most hilarious mental gymnastics in a vain attempt to defend your god.

No, Sony would rather sell you the same games for a second or third time than give a solution for backwards compatibility.

downgrade confirmed?

It's already been downgraded. Look at the graphics now compared to the unveiling which everyone thought was going to be the graphics to expect.

It honestly looked like Uncharted 3.5 in some parts. Overall it's a really great looking game. But, predictably, cows are way over-hyping it beyond its true graphical quality, while also downplaying other graphically outstanding games that deserve recognition.

ROTR shows an over the top action sequence, Sony fanboys get upset and call it garbage

Uncharted 4 shows an over the top action sequence Sony fanboys thinks it the greatest gaming moment they've ever seen

Sony fanboys are the most dishonest, hypocritical group of fanboys around. Every game or feature on another platform is always shit, but when it's on a Sony console suddenly it's the greatest thing ever.

That Uncharted 4 demo was decent, but after the previous mediocre Uncharted 4 gameplay demo I really thought Naughty Dog would bring something more impressive and exciting to the table. The first part (shootout in the marketplace) felt like Uncharted 3.5, both graphically and gameplay-wise, aside from improved destruction. Then they run through the buildings and across rooftops just like we've done many times before in the previous games. Then a fairly heavily scripted setpiece drive down through the town with a handful of obvious alternate turn spots, and a final quick time grapple.

I mean, it's not bad and I know in the balance of the full game it's going to be fun. But the same can be said of the Tomb Raider demo. Escaping that avalanche is a massive setpiece and I think in the context of the game it's going to be great.

I completely enjoyed Tomb Raider 2013 and I'm liking the changes/improvements I'm reading about Rise of the Tomb Raider. I'm still annoyed Microsoft tied it up as a timed exclusive, but whenever it does make it to PC I definitely plan to get it.

I personally liked the Rise of the Tomb Raider demo better than the Uncharted 4 demo. They both could have been better, but I know there's a lot more to both games.

Played through Mirror's Edge on the PC, beat it, loved it. Very happy they are making a new one.

it's called statistics, an average of 90+ reviewers. An objective person would take a step back and admit that he might be in the minority camp, and subsequently refrain from making blanket statements the way you did.

Which still wouldn't make the game quality, argumentum ad populum mate.

Mems is on crack though, the Souls games are terrific. The Witcher games are pretty fucking average when it comes to the gameplay part if not straight garbo like Witcher 1.

Your opinion is shit, in my opinion. Both games have good gameplay. Talk about being on crack...
