Yes, but when I make that argument about PC games somehow console fanboys don't want to acknowledge it. The PC has by far the biggest and most diverse lineup of games and therefor sales are divided among many more games. This is why Ubisoft titles or whatever might not sell as much on PC as on PS4.
Yeah, I only used my PS4 to play Horizon and Uncharted The Lost Legacy this year. Everything else was on my PC. I do think Sony does a good job with exclusives, but exclusives are such a small part of the gaming market. I feel some people really over exaggerate their importance.
That's such a load of crap. Backwards compatibility should be a requisite feature of any game platform. Having to leave behind all your games each time you buy a new console sucks. That's why I love the PC: all your games stay with you and they look and perform better with each major hardware upgrade.
The fact consoles don't have consistent backwards compatibility is extremely annoying. Microsoft is doing better in this regard and they should be commended, but even the Xbox One has limited backwards compatibility. Both Sony and Microsoft, but especially Sony, need to do better in this area.
Personally I don't put a lot of stock in GameSpot reviews. They have a strong hipster mentality and it skews their reviews from my perspective. I'm nearly certain my opinion of the game will align with IGN's and some of the other higher scoring reviews.
"you have to spend around $500 to get to play it in 720p lowest settings"
Who are you trying to fool with that nonsense? Nobody is likely going to build a PC today with 6 year old parts, they are going to use better, cheaper modern parts. A $500 pc built today would outperform any of the consoles.
You are clearly a console fanboy and you don't know what you are talking about. MOST games run very well on PC. The few that don't still run better on PC than on consoles.
