Today I happen to watch the LIVE games between Signify and GeekFam before lunch. But one thing was for sure in this game, and it was the wonderful game between Signify's Lina and GeekFam's Anti-Mage.

The game is immediately on Signify's favor with a really good Lina player taking control, with a nice show of teamwork as they pick GeekFam one by one. The start didn't look so good with GeekFam as they seem to be on their way to lose when Anti-Mage's farming finally pays off and starts to regain the kill count on GeekFam's side.

Since Signify focused more on their kills and didn't push much, GeekFam starts to gain more grounds by taking more towers on the bottom of the map.

By the second half of the game, GeekFam has an amazing comeback and was looking good with their Anti-Mage to back them up immensely.

But sadly towards the end, the two teams went ahead and start going for the win. With a final showdown on the top map of GeekFam's base, Lina makes yet another move along with the whole Signify team, winning against the clash and soon, winning the game.

+WARNING: Images may contain spoilers+

Imagine a world where all the anime tournaments come to life. Imagine Boku no Hero Academia Sports Festival, Pokemon League, Naruto’s Chunin Exams, Food Wars, and all those over the top competitions that you don’t see in everyday tournaments.

Right now, there are Esports competitions that have 3D dragons showing up in the Worlds Finals 2017, and special movie intros that show each team, or an Olympic-like entrance.

Although each of these is spectacular in its own way, it still lacks the wow factor that people can only see on Anime or Movies. With Avengers: Endgame and Game of Thrones Season 8 showing amazing visuals that are made possible by sleepless nights, and the blood sweat and tears of everyone in the team that made epic battles to give us something to watch.

But is it possible?

One of the games that start to appear in esports is TCG/CCG like Hearthstone, Magic the Gathering, and of course…

Yu-Gi-Oh!

Yes, this game that has produced amazing memes, and plenty of nostalgic memories, and possibly one of the best World-Tournament Building that stays with people.

Now imagine a TCG Finals tournament where Dark Magician comes to life like they do in the movies. You see a hologram of your deck fighting against the other player’s deck. This one is definitely possible with where we are in terms of holograms.

But what about robot fighting tournaments?

With the movie Alita: Battle Angel coming out early this year, we have been greeted by the amazing Motorball tournament that shows yet another amazing visual and World-Tournament Building. But the Motorball would probably happen 10 years from now (probably). What can happen now is something that has been happening lately…

Medabots. Real Steel.

GJS Robot says it themselves,

“Bringing Real Steel to Real Life”

With the help of their partner, (WCG) World Cyber Games, these two will bring robot fighting into the world of esports as a new and outstanding tournament to come in the real world. Robot fighting has been happening everywhere so it’s nothing new. Megabots, Giant Robots, Robot Wars Gladiator, Robo-One Championships in Tokyo, and many more are happening around the globe.

World Cyber Games aren’t just bringing to life real Mecha tournaments, their New Horizons division is also cooking up AI Exclusive tournaments, and Virtual Reality games.

From this list alone, it looks like New Horizons maybe the answer to Anime Tournaments coming to life in the future.

And if they are looking for ideas, I have a lot here, and I’m ready to pitch it to them!

~So how about you guys? Any ideas from anime tournaments that you want to happen in real life?

Mobile games are rampant in Southeast Asia, especially with MOBA like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and Clash Royale that has been recently announced as an official game in the World Cyber Games tournament.

But what does that say about horror fans?

With the #MomoChallenge causing the internet to cower, fear, and apparently causing kids to commit suicide. Even if it is just a hoax, Momo still haunts most of the people who have seen what she looks like; the #MomoChallenge is said to have started in a game found in WhatsApp.

Having that said, with Momo being a hoax and all, where can horror game fans find a game that is just as scary, or probably even better?

Here are 5 Horror Mobile Games That Will Get Your Skin Crawl

5. Mysterious Forum and 7 Rumors [Visual Novel]

As a Visual Novel, most horror fans don’t feel scared about this game at first glance. It has an anime feel on the art style, and it’s not even the horror anime feel that usually appeals to most horror fans.

But Mysterious Forum and 7 Rumors is not as innocent as it looks. The story is compelling and the characters are amazing. This is the type of game that focuses purely on story and characters to tell a scary story.

Since it’s a visual novel, the choices you make decides the ending you get!

Trust me, this game will surprise you.

4. Eyes – The Horror Game

You break into the mansion at night, and it’s huge and built like a maze.

Then you try to escape, but a monster is after you!

Eyes is a horror game that is probably what most fans look for in the genre. The game is pretty solid and you can even create custom monsters to be the one after you when you try to escape. It’s a horror survival game with scary graphics that makes it feel like your in a horror movie as one of the protagonists.

The game is most likely called EYE because you can use a mystical Eye rune to see through the monster’s vision.

But who knows? It might mean more than that. And the only way to know is to try it out yourself!

3. Zombie Shooter – Death Hospital

A first-person shooter where you play as a journalist who lost a bet to check out the abandoned hospital surrounded by creepy rumors of weird screams and strange lights. The protagonist, who you play, ends up getting taken by this creepy guy to get you to play this weird game.

Then you start exploring and found out that the game involves zombies.

A lot of zombies.

The story in the game is good enough, and the soundtrack puts the eeriness well. But what makes Death Hospital scary is the fact that it’s an Augmented Reality game that makes you as the player literally point your phones frantically in different places! The tension in this game is just seriously nerve-wracking that you feel like you’re in the game yourself. It’s scary good too since the realism in gameplay introduces slow reloads, reaction time, and a lot more.

Players can’t just kill a zombie with 1 shot to the head either. Headshots are important, but you have to shoot elsewhere strategically if you don’t want the zombies to overwhelm you.

In harder levels of the game, you have to look 360 degrees because zombies will come out of every corner, and they just keep on coming.

This game is new, but it’s already doing a good job to scaring gamers.

2. THE JUSOU

A puzzle game where you have to click around and figure out the abandoned house in your neighborhood.

You start in front of the house with curiosity drawing you inside.

10 years ago, a family with a child stayed in that house for a while. After they moved out though, nobody has since lived there. But it seems that you saw someone inside.

Usually, you avoid scary houses for good reasons all horror fans know to be a bad idea. But it’s a game, so we do it anyways.

Inside you are faced with the scariest sound effects that will make you look around your own house and wonder if it’s happening in real life. When a game makes you question reality, you know it’s good.

The images involve grotesque images like blood and creepy dolls, shadows that suddenly move, images that trick your mind, and other things that will make you just want to quit halfway because it gets THAT scary. Momo who? Yep. That’s what this game makes you feel.

Once you piece the puzzles, you discover scarier things about the house and the family that lived here. Solving the mystery, and soon getting to the ending where you learn about something you wish you didn’t.

1. The Letter

Take everything good and great that you found in the games and mentioned so far, and then put it in this one game.

The Letter is visually stunning, divine story, 7 amazing characters that you can play differently, fully animated sprites, voiced characters, crazy scary music, and so much more.

And the ghost?

Momo would look cute compared to the ghost in the game.

The game lets you play 1 character for free to get the feel of the game. You first experience the game as a Filipino real estate agent who is given the Ermengarde Mansion with a co-worker who is also your friend.

Once you get to the mansion, your phone gets weird and you start getting scared, which is very relatable. The strange phone call leads you to a room that looks strange. Then you found a letter on the floor and it immediately creeps you out.

But it doesn’t stop there…

Scared shitless, you decide to leave but when you lift your head from the letter, you see a pair of grotesque feet waiting for you.

Then you decide your fate.

This interactive adventure horror story is definitely on the top list for many many reasons. And since the game is free to play, test it out!

Just, make sure your heart is prepared for it.

@angelsemaj: I'm pretty sure they have a shooter game though. If I'm not mistaken its Crossfire. I have the game on my phone, but I haven't played it yet.

I just started playing Dota 2 last Sunday, and oh boy do I suck. It's just so different from how I remember DotA. Despite the heroes and some similarities, I feel like I'm so lost most of the time I played the game.

Somehow I managed the tutorials, but the moment I started playing with other players (even if they said everyone is new, ya liars), I'm practically all over the place.

SERIOUSLY, I think it's a crime for me to play the game.

I used to play DotA back then, and just seeing the heroes in Dota 2 like Brood Mama was a nice feeling of nostalgia. I'm not sure if Rhasta is still there, but I hope he is.

Back then, I was at least a decent player that was neither good or bad at playing. Sometimes, when I do good, it's most likely because a friend of mine is sitting beside me, telling me what to do, or what items to build for a character. Most of the time, I just played with the chicken.

When I heard from a friend about WCG looking for fresh players, and saw Dota 2 in their games, I decided to go back and play it. I thought playing Mobile Legends would help me be a little better in Dota 2, but boy was I wrong.

The difficulty level of Dota 2 is really unmatched, this I can say for sure. I'm not putting down other MOBAs but MY GOD, no wonder Dota 2 is still alive and probably the most competitive game there is.

This game is a legend that has put (MOBA) Multiplayer Online Battle Arena on the gaming map back in the earlier days of competitive gaming. It’s not a game that would be forgotten until the end of gaming itself as it has put a mark on all gamer from around the world.

Although my hopes of competing in WCG (or any esports tournament), I still wanted to get a little better in Dota 2. Back in DotA, I used to play Rhasta and Brood Mother a lot. So far I saw Brood Mama, but no Rhasta.

Any tips?

I tried to sell it because I was low on cash. But in the end, I couldn't do it. For some dumb reason, the physical copies I have are precious to me... even if I have sold them already.
