I feel like he was fun in the mid 2000s but he was never exactly great. Unbreakable I think was a pretty excellent movie, and Signs screwed me up as a kid. Specifically the scene where they are watching the tv in the closet. Overall I think he's just kinda okay, he makes fun dumb movies most the time and awful dog shit other times.

I went and saw The Green Knight, I'm a big A24 fan and everyone I went with loved it but honestly for me that movie was way too long even for a high fantasy movie. The pacing was pretty good but the story didn't grip me as much as I would have liked. I get it's more about atmosphere which I agree was close to perfect but with that run time I needed more than that. I don't know though, i miss when movies were an hour and a half haha. I'd still recommend, maybe just wait for the blu ray. 6/10
