I "think" he is a far right extremist, and that this was a politically motivated attack, because that is what all of the evidence shows so far from reputable reports.

If new evidence comes to light showing this is false, then I will no longer believe that. But that's just the facts right now.

I posted earlier in this thread the facts weren't matching the narrative. Well the narrative has changed again to the point the police do not what happened, only that Paul Pelosi was attacked.

I think it was abc news reported that pelosi opened the door for the officers, greeted them and walked back towards the MAGA dude(lol). He he was truly in distress he would have jumped behind the officers for protection. The stories keep changing though so who knows. A different story said they both had hammers and sounded like MAGA dude had him pinned to the ground when the police came in (or maybe they were holding the same hammer?)

Yup, that original narrative that he was some far right MAGA hitman is falling apart pretty fast. Even far left legacy media has questioned the narrative they've been actively pushing. It's comical how much it's snowballing for them. Combine those officers accounts of what they found when they arrived with the dispatcher saying Depape was a "friend" and it starts to make sense. Depape was invited in by Pelosi, they probably knew each other already, something went wrong, then Nancy's campaign decided to politicize the event, and push out a narrative. My guess? Paul had some kind of business with Depape that didn't go well.

Trying to spin this as some crazy MAGA republican hitman shows just how embarrassingly divisive our media and politics have become.

No, the story did not fit the party line so NBC pulled the story. It does not make what was reported incorrect. The party line it was politically motivated and that story went against the party line.

Really need to see all the body cam/security footage. I don't get the sequence of events.

• Cops get there and knock on door..
• Pelosi answers door?
• attacker greets the police and says everything is fine?
• Cops witness them both struggling over a hammer?

Somebody needs to lay out these details. The order and time these things happened are not explained, like at all...
