Holy **** that Cotton bowl was HYPE! So glad I randomly decided to watch it. Great play from both teams and I cannot believe that MSU comeback. Twas EPIC!
Mariota off tonight...
Holy shit this is Mariotta off his game? I have never actually sat down and watched him play before. Made a point of watching him play tonight seeing as he is heading to the NFL next year.

It really is lol. He's had three easy throws way off target. Rarely if at all happens with him.

Jesus Christ the dude could very well beast in the NFL. It would be insane to see him helm the Eagles offense. I almost wish the Lions had done absolutely shitty to be able to draft him...
@LostProphetFLCL: Maybe. But the WRs won't be so open (usually) in NFL, so we'll see. Still haven't seen this type of QB translate well to NFL. I want him to stay away from philly though. That is the one place I don't want him.
What's wrong with Philly? I feel it would suit him perfect as Oregon is using a fast-tempo style the same way Philly is.
I know the transition is difficult, but I think he could do it well. He for the most part seems to have good instincts and just knows how to extend plays when need be, can keep the up-tempo going perfectly, and when the shit hits the fan he can book it quite fast to get some yards.

I'm a Redskin fan and don't want him there lol

Oh come on, ANYTHING is better than RGIII and Cousins...

Yes, I'm saying he'll have a good chance at being good in Philly which is why I don't want him him philly. I think we have a miscommunication somewhere lol
@Chutebox: I think you're a ******.
**** both these teams playing right now. I hope Oregon can handle their business against one of these fucks.

Oh lol.
Yeah, Philly would definitely be scary with him at the helm. If they can do as much as they did with freaking Sanchez at QB I can't imagine what they would be able to do with Super Mario running the show.
I feel like it would be fun enough to see to justify Philly potentially killing my Lions season in some way. :P
Speaking of QB's, anyone think Winston actually manage to have any NFL impact? I am thinking he might not, but IDK.
@PSP107: I'd say it was a success because it took a team who probably wouldn't have been in the BCS national championship game in Oregon and saw them prove they were better a team who would in FSU. And yes, I understand Oregon was #2 and FSU was #3, but I'm almost certain FSU would have been #2 if it were a 2-team system like the BCS.
Super Mariotta is apparently too much awesome for his recievers. Twice now they dropped beautiful passes on 3rd down.
What a shitty way for Mariota to end his college career.
Anyways good win by OSU. Jones really shouldn't be a God damn 3rd string QB. Besides a couple bad mistakes, he looked pretty fucking awesome and I can't imagine how good he could be if he got regular playtime.
He looks like he could have NFL potential. Good pocket passer who CAN scramble and extend plays when needed but doesn't rely on it. He can run the ball if needed and is tough as nails about it to, not just sliding but bashing and forcing his way with the ball.
Wonder if he will see more playtime next season.
OHIO
I don't even really watch football but I live in Ohio and they'd kick me out of the state if I didn't watch this game.
Just shows how shitty FSU's defense was this year. They turn the ball over and Oregon scores on every fucking drive. OSU turns it over 4 times and Oregon scores 0 (maybe a fg) points.
Bleh, probably gonna take 1-2 years before FSU is a title contender again. They've been scoring mad recruits the past few years, but they are all freshman or incoming freshman.
I really wish USC would learn and put more effort into their defense. You think they would learn over the years that you need a good defense to do well. But they don't learn and they just fucking gave up 41 fucking points to a team that was held to 6 points against mother fucking north western. What a fucking joke.
