Wolverine seems like an anomaly. They wanted to give a a true surprise and were upfront about where it was in development.

I'm fine with -

• About 2 years - Most big games
• 1-2 years - Big , Medium , and small games
• Year or less - Remakes or smaller games
• 1 early bomb drop like Wolverine to get ahead of leaks is probably good enough for the entire gen. Some leaks can be really fun sometimes and still blow us away when announced - Bloodborne , Horizon , God of War , etc.

They are publishing the PS5 version , and it was branded with the PlayStation Studios logo. They might have a small hand in helping with the development. It's a unique situation. They may or may not count it (like I said). It doesn't matter much to the overall number or the greater point. If they aren't counting it , it would be 26 games instead of 27 , or 27 games instead of 28 , and so on.

In June 2021 (last year) , Herman Hulst said their were more than 25 PlayStation Studios games in development with almost half being new IP's). No years were given.

• 8-9 of the games - Gran Turismo 7 , Horizon Forbidden West , MLB The Show , The Last of Us Part I , God of War Ragnarok , The Last of Us Multiplayer , Spider-Man 2 , Wolverine , and they might count KOTOR
• 2 games - Partnerships with Firewalk , Deviation
• All of their other studios with unannounced games - Team Asobi , Bluepoint , Bend , Sucker Punch , Pixelopus , London , Firesprite , Haven , etc.
• Any other potential partnership games - Helldivers 2 , PSVR 2 games , etc.

I believe him. It adds up. Makes sense.

Horizon Forbidden West - post game content / Platinum push. I already put 115 hours into the game and there's more to do and see.

The game is MASSIVE, and it's such a fun world to hang out in and fight in.

Wow , that was pretty bad. Redfall didn't hit , and Starfield looks fine - No Man's Fallout in Space. One of the worst showcases of all time. Not even Kojima could save it. Just wait until next year I guess.
