Behind a made-for-TV Hong Kong protest narrative, Washington is backing nativism and mob violence

"Hong Kong’s increasingly xenophobic protests are devolving into chaos with help from US government regime-change outfits and a right-wing local media tycoon with close ties to hardliners in Washington." - by Dan Cohen, The Grayzone

Twitter thread with videos and pictures from the Hong Kong protests: https://twitter.com/CarlZha/status/1165612268807081984

I don't have WiiU yet, but for me the games that I most want to buy for it are: Bayonetta 1+2; Super Mario 3D World; and Mario Kart 8.

@rabakill said:

Casino Royale > Everything else. It's a near perfect movie, the problem now is there is no way to match it. Every other James Bond will be a comparison to Casino Royale because it was the best plot of any of the movies. Vesper falls for him but she betrays him, James is actually vulnerable and opens up once and only once and goes back to being a merciless killer.

^ This. I totally agree.

@forkandplate: "Statistically the lifespan of a homosexual male is much lower than that of a heterosexual" - Do you have any real proof of that or it's just something you hear or just your ignorant opinion?

@i_return: You say you need proof but at the same time you make many ignorant points without any proof behind them.
"why is the risk of getting AIDs higher in homosexual relations" - It's NOT! That's a total lie! It's a myth that you seem to believe without any real proof.

If you do a real and unbiased search on the web of articles on the subject you'll easily find proof why homosexuality is NOT an illness in any way and that people don't choose to be that way.

And you should be more worried about the lack of love in our society. Because love and compassion, of any kind, are essential for our species to be able survive, and are also the most meaningful aspects of life.

If you want really great, profound and touching stories I suggest you read a good book or watch a good movie or watch a good and serialized TV show. The best game stories are still miles away from being as compelling, thought provoking or profound as the best books, movies or TV shows, IMHO. But the storytelling quality of games has certainly improved a great deal over the last 20 years, and will continue to improve more, and what makes a story great or not is always somewhat subjective...

@mastermetal777: I'm glad you liked it =) I didn't play Half-Life 2 when it was first released and I recently play it for a few hours and didn't enjoyed very much. I found the story boring/uninteresting and the gameplay a bit too repetitive for my taste. Thanks for your contribution!

@glitter: Wow! You really love Megaman and Sonic games don't you? Thanks for your contribution =)

@Renegade_Fury: Great list! I didn't play most of those games. XD I only played the Sigma edition of Ninja Gaiden on PS3, that's why it's not in my list, but it's one of my favorite games of all time! Thanks for your contribution =)

@hrt_rulz01: As I said before, I didn't play Half-Life 2 when it was first released and I recently play it for a few hours and didn't enjoyed very much. Halo games are also overrated in my humble opinion from what I've seen of other people playing them. Thanks for your contribution =)
