The level of texture detail in Galaxy is far higher than that of Sunshine. It is most obvious that the game is pushing the Wii to its absolute limits. And Galaxy in motion is a sight to behold. Screen caps from any game do it no justice whatsoever.

Wow... no matter what level its at Crysis looks absolutely stunning. Even on my computer on low it looks amazing. Crytek has done a bang up job with the engine with Crysis... and amazingly, the game is quite a bit of fun to play as well. So much for "all graphics and no gameplay." Next-gen has finally arrived.

@OatmealKing: Sadly, the PS3 and 360 are not PC's. They are fixed platforms with already out-of-date hardware that will not improve over the next 5 years and thus the graphical standards will not either. They are sure trying to be like PC's though, which is odd because there is an incredible market for home consoles these days and everyone who wants a computer will buy a computer, not a home console that tries and fails to be a home computer. As for the zombies, good article. We need more zombie games like BrainBread, ones that allow you to just "survive" over a given period of time. I as a zombie fandom aficionado don't need a story, characters or anything else some of these zombie games have to enjoy splattering zombies all over the place.

I'm still surprised at how well my X1650Pro 512, 2.67GHz P4 and 2.25 GB of DDR-333 RAM runs.. I was expecting the game really not to run at all but no... it runs on high settings (everything but DX10 surfaces), with 1024x768 resolution at around 20-30 fps, with obvious drops when a lot of stuff goes on on screen. But I've been playing most games for the past 5 years on hardware that doesn't let me get over 30fps for most new games... so I guess I'm used to it.

Well, for me it is going to be either the X1650 XT or a 7900GS, just need to move on to PCI-E for the GS though. For those who think the PS3 is more powerful than PCs... it may be more powerful but it is a load more complicated to program for, plus once DX10 and quad-core processors come out, technically the PS3 will be obsolete [in about 4 months], compared to PCs. Plus I would rather have a decent computer and a console instead of just a console.

1. Metal Gear Solid (PS) 2. Gran Turismo 4 (PS2) 3. Super Metroid (SNES) 4. Doom (PC) 5. Day of Defeat (PC) The five best games in their respective category. And in order of my favourites. I could make a list of 50, but that would just be getting out of hand.
