89/100 on meta. This could very well be a 10/10 on GS, but since this dev has no track records, i'd bet its more of a 9/10 here. And because there's no chance of the story and writing of being remotely competent, i just don't see it getting a 10. If they ignored the writing, and only based their review around the gameplay, i can see this being a 10.

When was the last time an eastern game deserved a 10/10? They're all buggy as ****, and run like garbage. They don't deserve a 10, and if this one runs like shit and is as buggy, well, guess what? It doesn't deserve a 10 neither.

STALKER Shadow of chernobyl deserve 10/10. it was most unique, innovative, atmospheric game. it was unlike any other game made in 2007.

Its still best FPS ever made.

It was a buggy shitshow, and the vanilla game is NOT a 10/10 either. So no, there are no eastern titles that deserve a 10, and that's why there is none.

it was buggy at release and got fixed by patched and mods and become masterpiece. needed to be re review.

now Stalker 2 looks more polished, not buggy but somehow feel worse than original game. the inclusion of cutscene dialogues.

It wasn't fixed worth a damn by the devs. It was saved by modders, and a reviewer is not gonna give the game a 10 because it got saved by third party years after launch🤷‍♂️

I'm not that impressed by it so I say a 7/10 here, 71% on Metacritic. It's not for me. Perhaps if games were $50 or $60 [in Canadian money] I would give it a shot, but as it is, just not worth my time.

Sure, that's an option; I am a GamePass subscriber, for what it's worth. I don't think I'm going to pull the trigger on it -- but if others like it, more power to them.

If this game is as good as it looks, it being on GP feels like a ripoff to the developer. GP is usually for unfinished shovelware such as Infinite, not Atomic Heart.

It looks good, will probably have good gameplay...but like many games that come from that area of the world, it will probably have some jank to it. Poor quality.

STALKER 2 also launching on GP first day. its bonus.

I will probably buy stalker2 because mods support will be great, and don't want to be subbing for gp every time i feel like installing and trying new mods.

Reviews are for suckers who have to weigh whether this will be worth their $70-120, I'll just be playing it on Game Pass.

I don't think it'll be Callisto bad by any means, but much like that game, the hype is lost on me. Some cool looking art in some of the vids I've seen, about it.

As always, hope it's actually really good, but so far just reads as mid but pretty.

There is nothing story related that can be spoiled. The story, characters and writing in general is guaranteed to be garbage.

Bioshock had fantastic story. Its story even cover its mediocre/subpar gameplay.

You have already asked this question. It has nothing to do with similar gameplay/art style, but everything to do with the writers. Zero chance of anyone at Atomic Heart studio knowing how to write something proper, and just from the gameplay trailers, you can very clearly see that its a shitshow.
