From gameplay to dialog, everything is explained in extreme detail and he paints a picture that's far removed from what arm chair skeptics have tried to depict so far.

FF7R follows FF7's story line only with everything within polished to an unmatched level of quality that gives a night and day experience apart from anything anyone played in the original game.

I was mildly optimistic before listening to this demo play through, now? FF7R is a Day fvcking 1. What an amazing play by play.

I find him to be a really cool dude who’s very informative and entertaining to watch. He’s really good at breaking down gameplay mechanics and explaining them to his viewers.

As for FF7, I'm not hype nor will I play it. Still have the original so that's all their is to it.

I wish more games got the "remake" overhaul instead of the "remaster" like most. I love seeing games created anew in a new generations vision, good or bad.

Although I don't really give a damn about FF7 or JRPGs; I've tried a few of them, just can't get passed the presentation and gameplay of them.

Is that $60 price tag just for the first part of the game or for the entirety of FF7? They gonna charge extra for the other episodes?

If you haven't played it then you missed one of the best RPGs (JRPG or WRPG) ever created. By the sound if it you haven't. It's on PC so knock yourself out.

FF7R look amazing (already preordered) but with stuff like CP77 and Bloodlines 2, it's way too early to give it any titles.

@i_p_daily: Well for me it’s not really a choice I make to either watch a stream or play a game. I usually watch while I’m doing something else when I can’t game or even while I am playing a game. Personally I enjoy watching Maximilian because he’s more about being informative and entertaining and doesn’t really sit around just bitching at stuff. I like to see stuff on games that I’m not able to play at the moment but am interested in and his gaming tastes largely reflect my own. I also enjoy it because you can interact with many other people as well. It’s largely like interacting with others in a forum but while having some gameplay to watch as well.

Can’t wait to play it! Thought FF15 was a bad bad game that had a lot of things going for it to potentially made it a great game! Judging by the video ff7 remake is keeping all the good things and throwing away all the crap, so should be really good!!

Literally an entire game on Midgar... MIDGAR! why? if the other 2 parts are equal size/length then that means there will be TONS of content cut or rushed because Midgar was a tiny spec of the game... talking 3-4 hours of a 40 hour game.

This is going to be an absolute mess, it doesn't matter how pretty it is, how many cutscenes there are, its still FF15's broken gameplay mashed in with materia.

20-30 hours of midgar... After all this time they still can't show us a boss fight from start to finish, likely because its absolutely mindless.

AMAZING DECISION.
