yes, but not because of fanboy reasons. I have an Xbone, so I could easily buy it now if i want to.

However, I refuse to let these companies think it's ok to do this. Both MS and CD (or Square, whoever made the deal) need to be taught this lesson. Instead of buying games that were already getting made to exclude them from other systems, permanently or temporarily, you should be spending that money to MAKE new games.

all this move did was piss off the greater majority of Tomb Raider's fanbase (look at sales for the series, especially the last game. PS systems had over half and PC was the 2nd largest demographic) Making them arbitrarily wait because you got greedy is pathetic. Even more pathetic though? For once, they actually admitted outright that the exclusivity for the Xbox was only timed BEFORE the game even came out. All that likely did was hurt sales even more cause now you won't have people going out to buy Xbone's to play this game unless they are absolutely desperate for something to play NOW.

Halo 2 and Half-Life 2 launched the same year.

HL2 had a gravity gun, unnecessarily big levels, some zombies, no cutscenes (double-edged sword) and physics puzzle.

Halo 2 had some of the best FPS multiplayer ever, campaign co-op, zombies, vehicle combat that actually didn't suck, epic as all hell soundtrack that's still fondly remembered, and was another game that infamously shuffled protagonists. back then, only other game that caught me off guard like that was mgs2.

and both games get sudden cliffhanger endings.

to go beyond these 2 games though. Halo took Goldeneye's console success to the next level and introduced elements used in many FPS even today. HL was a legendary experience, but can you honestly say most games that have followed it have done so in its footsteps? there's several other notable FPS that go from the same time as it or further back of equal note that actually have the added bonus of being groundbreaking and establishing elements found throughout games that have followed them.

Xbox One gets new games, like Sunset Overdrive not remasters or movie games. lol

I like how it's June and you have to reach all the way back to a 2014 release to even chirp in this thread. Didn't think that one through, did you?

a release that still is plagued with glitches and bugs to this day. even if i didn't get screwed out of getting ODST for free, it'd still be annoying. especially since that has bugs and glitches up the wazoo as well.

Zelda is more impressive for last gen hardware but i still don't believe it was truly running on a WiiU. Rock textures and waterfalls were the only good looking things in UC4 :<

Dude, we had this discussion, it was running on Wii U lol.

still don't believe it, we all know what WiiU can achieve and this is above its limits (being an exclusive, developed by 1st party isn't an excuse either, they can't pull a better cpu out their ass and have much bigger draw distances.). Just look at X for example, its an open world game but it looks barren af.

Nintendo does not do bullshots and misleading 'target renders.'

o rly? guess you forgot

Open world is nice, but that world did indeed look barren. Not to mention that horse AI is nothing special. Taxi drivers in gta are far more impressive. Uncharted obviously isn't open world though. Where it can be impressive I'm guessing is soley graphics, framerate, etc. None of which are very refined atm. Goes without saying, same for Zelda, but obviously u cant get as much out of the Wii U

the only thing that would be more ridiculous is if he mocked either console for not being powerful enough or not having a good enough online infrastructure

Grow up already, Nintendo. You are different from the others, but different isn't always better. Case in point. Aside from exclusives which you cannot churn out year after year and will be all but done with after Smash4 wii u releases, you have pretty much nothing to keep your system sustained. Nintendo game droughts are the worst because 3rd party is a necessity.

I don't get it

they are gonna show how they modeled Drake for this year's E3 trailer. The conference is aimed at developers not gamers.

I'm almost positive that this will be a Holiday 2015 release designed primarily to compete with Halo 5 and possibly the next Crackdown as the "killer app" of the season.

some day, people are going to have to accept crackdown isn't nearly good enough to ever be a contender for that title and it never was. 1 game bought soley for a beta that was pretty alright. 2nd game that was utter shit. some track record.

big fucking whoop. that card alone costs $150 give or take. Literally costs over 1/4 the entire ps4 system for just 1 component.

makes sense. This year, MS bought the advertisement to AC (they also seem to have done it with the division)

Can't have the version of the game getting all the advertisement being the worst version.

I'm more shocked people couldn't see the lack of content from the alpha/beta.

I kept asking what Destiny was about, how it was structured, what kinds of missions you could do, etc. I even made a tread about it, with no responses. All i could see was empty areas with mobs spread around for you to kill.

Then i see people go "I didn't expect the beta do be all there is". Really?

it's an alpha/beta. since when were those supposed to be a measure of amount of content? Halo 3's beta only had like 3 maps and 1 or 2 gametypes iirc. Reach wasn't much better. How could anyone have been expected to know that the beta was literally the entire finished version of earth + 1 moon mission + a fair chunk of the MP?

Never played a beta where we pretty much had 1/4 of the game or even close to it before.
