They had 10 live service games in production so this is to be expected. Also have the Ps Portal, bungie acquisition, and ps5 refresh and trying to get their own data centers, they don’t have MS money. Sony hasn’t really been on cruise control they’ve just been forced into a more reactive role due to the changes in gaming that they didn’t want to except at first and now have no choice but too play along or get left behind. Now they’re on the process of trying to make PS+ as service better in order to better compete with XBL, GeForce , etc. as a service.

@qui-gon-milk: Yea man the Dame news was a banger everybody thought he was going to Miami, but Giannis Dame and Middleton should let the Bucks cake walk through the East.
Pretty sure everybody knew if this deal went through he was done, and not only that he sealed his fate once the news came out that he lied about COD being pulled from PlayStation. Not surprising to me at all that they let him go.
@loudheadphones: the math doesn’t add up, if we just assume every gamepass member is subscribed to the base tier of $10 and Gamepass has 25 million subscribers that’s $250 million a month, 3 billion a year.
Lmao that xbox is more profitable than Sony. Kinda hard to not be profitable with gamepass revenue though.
Makes perfect sense, the cloud is the only thing holding back the Activision deal. They’ll make way more money from cloud licensing than they will from xcloud
A lot of people hating on the Cell, the Cell was not trash it was just harder for developers to work with.
On the flip side how bout that Ssd Powah of the PS5, those specs are a lie there’s no way a normal pc can run Rachet on a hdd. Cerny himself told me the ssd in the ps5 would make my ps5 on par with a 4080. Cerny doesn’t lie so I guess these pc requirements are false, just an attempt to give pcs users hope the game will run without the ps5 ssd.
