Will you buy TloU 2? Given the leaks

Wasn't interested in the game in the first place so I don't plan on picking it up.

I wasn't that interested in it to begin with. I may get it when it's dirt cheap. I enjoyed the first one but I could only play it once. Never had the desire to play it again.

Never cared about it in the first place, just enjoy making fun of it.

The first game had a proper ending. No interest in a sequel.

Though it is funny how a story can make or break a ND game for many. Kinda says a lot about their gameplay lol.

I was never really partial to the game in the first place. I really love the original game but I see it as its own self-contained story I happen to love. I could have probably been more excited for this game had it not been delayed for so many years to lower my anticipation to lukewarm.

I'll likely play it at some point, but to run out and play it when it launches is unlikely.

Too much effort to read or watch the leaks. Would rather do something fun.

Apart from System Wars which isn't real life, the game will sell 20 million copies so this doesn't really matter. Of course I'll buy it.

Day one buy for me most likely I just watched a glimpse second of a leak video so I'm good for now. This actually nothing I avoided spoilers for GTAV from 2013 until the PC release in 2015.

As a fan of the original, boy am I glad I read the leaks. I can’t imagine my reaction if I played through this garbage coming out blind to the leaks. We are about to witness an epic falloff bigger than the BioWare fall from grace.

Wasn't gonna buy it in the first place, but lol at the leaks. They're gonna destroy the characters just to be as pretentious as possible.

@Pedro: I'd say it's between this and ND treatment of employees ND is about to go through a pretty rough transition. I don't think @goldenelementxl is being dramatic at all.

Sony has got a big problem over at Naughty Dog in more ways then one.

Haven't checked the leaks. Won't check the leaks. Will play day one (maybe). Will deeply enjoy. Will laugh when the naysayers get owned (unless it flops, of course).

Yeah I’ll probably get it eventually. While I’m not necessarily a huge fan of Naughty Dog I do generally enjoy their games well enough. I’m not really in a rush to get it and I don’t have a PS4 yet so I’ll probably get it when it’s cheaper anyway.

watch out. mainstream media and critics will rate it 10/10. however metacritic user score will be red, bombarded by fans.

As I had no intention of buying the game, I read the leaked plot points. I think if they had been taken in via the context of the story unfolding the way it should have, there would be far less outcry over the story. That's as far as I'm willing to discuss it.

As for why I wasn't planning on buying it, frankly, the first game was hands down the darkest game I had played. Ever. Given the first few trailers of the sequel, the 2nd looks to be ramping that darkness up even further. That's not my thing anymore.

If the rumors about how Naughty Dog has been treating employees is true, that's severely unfortunate and I'm glad that it's rumored that Uncharted has been handed to another studio.

I liked the story of the first, but not the game play. While the game play looks more interesting I really have no interest in the story of the sequel. Let's face it you don't play a ND game for the game play.

It'll take some high praise from some key people for me to give it a try. And it wont be on PS4.

god you look like a fool when you say things like this. the gameplay is what looks so good about this game. it's not the story. funny how every developer that seen the first gameplay trailer at e3 said it was fake then had to apologize to them when naughty dog showed them that it was real gameplay. this will be the most intense game this gen. i mean watch the trailer even have to take out the arrows that hit you before you can shoot again even the bad guys as well.

ALSO THEY SAID THIS WILL BE THE LONGEST NAUGHTY DOG GAME EVER MADE WITH OVER 30 HOURS OF GAME PLAY YES GAME PLAY. THE TRAILER IS NOT SCRIPTED GAME PLAY AS WELL.

Wait, so the leaks aren't the full story, just part of it? People are having fits over an ending without knowing the whole context?

30 hours of gameplay? yeah 15 hours will be cutscene. 5 hours will be forced walking segment, 2 hours show some nice animations. remaining will be just gameplay.

again 15 hours of cut scene not even metal gear solid has that many hours in cut scenes. try 2 hours of it being cut scenes. first one only had 1 hour and 30 min of cut scenes. so how can this game be 15 hours of cut scenes.

and the force walking is to make it seamless game with no load screens. only reason they do that is because of the harddrive. next gen because every single ps 5 exclusive will have ssd from scratch which will get rid of the force walking and yes i hate these parts myself so i can't wait until next gen ps 5 exclusives.

Didn’t bother to look at any video and the leak. Day one for me as part one was one of my most favorite game from last gen.

Nah, I couldn't get through the constant interruptions in the original. I wager they're even worse in the sequel.

I generally pass on Naughty Dog content for that reason alone. It's a shame, too, because I think the gameplay is decent. I just don't like having control taken away from me every few minutes.

yeah me to and yes the story was great from the first but the gameplay is were i like it the most. part 2 looks even better. I also realize it's not my story to tell so im not looking for the ending that i want in the first place.

Dude this is the internet. The fact is most of the people talking about how bad the leaks are weren't even going to buy the game in the first place. It's just one of those internet nerd rage things. It's a big nothing burger.

I didn't See the leaks. I'm definitely planning on getting it unless reviews reveal it's somehow become a disaster

Implying that if I decide to play it I will wait until the PS5 or a PC release.

@virusvaccine21: I was going to buy it but the treatment of a certain character and the knowledge of who you play as through half the game just made me lose interest.

I'm still buying it day one because I want to know the context of everything. I want to see Abby's story and everything that leads up to the final confrontation. Naughty Dog writers are good at what they do and the story of the first game was cliche as all hell, but the writers made it good. They'll do the same thing here too.

And plus, I like the way Ellie is a serial killer and she's out for blood.
