I never cared about spoilers/leaks. I'll probably get it on a sale.

The r/thelastofus2 subreddit is having an r/freefolk style field day with these leaks. I can't stop lol'ing

sure, I'll just stay away from any of the leaked content on the internet right now.

I don’t even own a ps4 so no, I have no interest. The plot looks like a dumpster fire so I doubt I’ll watch it on YouTube.

it was alright.. thought it was overhyped, i played remaster on ps4. The leaks sound like they really went for the sjw crowd

I'm just wondering for those that are actively hating on the skeptics and those who are turned-off by the story details, what their excuse for Naughty Dog is for delaying the game indefinitely over the fear of a negative response.

To me there's strong evidence that Naughty Dog knew perfectly well what type of game they're making, one that will be controversial and pandering in a manipulative way.

If the game really had no issues I'm pretty sure ND would have not made such suspicious choices in recent times.

But nah. Didn't throw out the movie game crit because it's a lazy and tired criticism. 99% of the time, applied to games where it doesn't even make sense.

It's no mystery that I'm not big on ND games. They're usually on the shallow end (TLOU was actually better about this), which is made even worse when the games wrestle control away from the player so often. Not my jam.

And yeah, "can't play Sony games" lol. I'm not rich by any means, but I'm certainly well off enough that gaming purchases are a non factor. I'll buy a console if it has just a single game I really want. Just bought a new XBX a couple of weeks back, solely to play two ports of games that are over a decade old.

But yeah, haven't skipped a Sony console yet. I rarely play my PS4, but Bloodborne and Nioh (before its PC release) are two of my favs this gen. Death Stranding was pretty decent too.

Only Naughty Dog game I cared for was Jak and Daxter 1.

Man I have been wondering where do i sit with this. WTH is happening right now. Druckman that one time roasting Kojima and the game industry about characters like Quite makes sense now. Truthfully there are some issues that I have with it but feels like the wrong outrage people have taken over now. I don't want to sit next to those f***ers lol. Ill have to see how the game is executed in the end. Man the memes though lol. Err Kojima is to blame here.

I might get it if they improve the gameplay. I did enjoy the first game a lot but I also think this game didn't need a sequel.

Nah, beyond just the fact that the story beats are taken mad out of context so I have no real expectation of how things get built up to those moments, I don't have a working PS4 right now so I was waiting for a PS5 to play it anyway.

Chances are it'll be out before PS5, but I expect the story to be on par with the first game, but all of a sudden to have "criticisms" for its story, from the same crowd that creamed their jeans for a less good Children of Men for totally "justified and reasonable" reasons.

it's 30 hours long im sure there is plenty of gameplay. plus if you watched the gameplay trailers it looks so brutal and intense. so many ways to take out your enemy. the story is there to make you more immersed in the game. I always like a good story in my games. i get more attached to the player and makes me want to see the end.

I haven't seen the leaks, and I would even if I did. I'm not missing out on one of the year's best releases.

I also like Good stories in games but in this case. the story is complete trash. yet they force us to watch.

I mean, the whole series is becoming a meme. That blows since the original was one of my fav games of last gen.
