@ConanTheStoner: I judged Bayo 1 on its demo, so probably not fair of me to judge off of that. I liked Bayo 2's combat and I only played its demo as well. Probably B2's demo was setup to be more enjoyable and they didnt spend as much time on the 1st ones demo.

I thought I would give Devils Third a chance since I like Itagaki's combat. I dont care if it has some glitches and the gfx are not so good. I think its going for more than i am willing to pay right now though.

I will only play a hack n slash if it feels like Ninga Gaiden 1 and 2 in the combat department. The only Platinum combat I liked was Bayonetta 2.

@isbah: @isbah: I meant when you hook it up to pc what does the pc display settings say the resolution is at. I have some older pc's that I have used vga on with newer monitors, the vga connection does seem to warp the aspect ratio.

Again what aspect ratio options are available to you on your monitor with 360 via vga? It probably wont have just scan or pixel perfect mode bc it is analog signal. If it does not allow just scan then 16:9 is what you want it on.

Does your 360 have HDMI? Maybe you could just get an HDMI to DVI adapter. Then you would have to run the standard AV cable that came with the 360 for audio. You will have to pop off the plastic case around the cable so it will fit next to the HDMI cable on your 360.

I think the best you can do with vga is 1280x1024 for picture quality. It still wont be true widescreen and will have black bars.

@isbah: What is the resolution of your monitor? Your pc will usually set itself to fill in the monitors resolution. Does the monitor allow just scan or pixel perfect mode?

I think it will get ports of some wii U games. With the detachable controller configurations, the nx could morph into different shapes for past handhelds. I think the NX will play the whole VC library but it wont be backwards compatible with Wii U games. Though they could do it like Microsoft did with the X1 but I really doubt it.

It would be cool to see the gold Zelda carts again. I bet they make the initial run gold, everyone loves a gold Zelda cartridge. Eh but then if they are small like 3ds it wont be as grand.

By the way, did spirit tracks and phantom hourglass come in a gold cart at first?

Do you have an idea of how she will react if she walks in and its all setup in her home? If she makes a fuss over it, but you think she will settle down and leave it alone after a very short time, then go for it. If she is a super strict mom and you have a good idea that she will do something with it when you are gone, like sale it or put it away so you cant use it, then probably not worth it.

I have not kept up with monitors but those low lag times are usually with the monitor in gaming mode, right? And when you turn on gaming mode it lowers picture quality tremendously. LCD takes more processing to make a quality picture than plasma or crt by its more complicated method.
