Haven't posted in ages. Thought I'll drop by. GK96s kit, cyan pudding caps, and Box Kailh white swaps.

3600 + mobo setup should be cheap and it'll set you up nicely when the newer gpu rolls in. I'd imagine that newer games have finally been hitting the 4 threads cpu, I know is not a good comparison but the 2500k I had ran doggo at the end.

If you don't need it than you don't need it. Seems like you are happy with it and the games listed isn't too demanding. Theres always ebay w10 key if you can't upgrade fyi, I bought one from a good rated seller and it worked.

Personally upgraded to r5 2600 from 2500k, cause 4c/4t could no longer keep up for the past few years actually. It may actually run better than I think 7600k those extra threads are finally put to good use. If you upgrade theres plenty of good options now and in the future. Amd ryzens are so good now.

I had the 36" Sony HD Wega CRT tv. That biotch was 222 lbs.

The benefits of LCD far outweigh the negatives when compared to CRT. my 144hz IPS LG monitor does just fine.

Yeahhhh. Had a 27" that still took two people to haul up, barely. I've never seen a high end crt in my life to see the benefits truly outweighing lcd. W.e drawbacks lcd had was overcame with higher res, weight, heat, and the thing doesn't strain your eye like crt did. So any memories I had of crt were all low res, low-mid end at best. I only recall seeing an hdtv crt once alone against all the lcd and plasma everywhere at bestbuy back in the day. Even then I kept my distance knowing the heat that thing probably poured out, but they did get the screen to be really flat for a crt that I remembered.

Just had fluffy pancakes today. Maybe I should consider switching back for this reason alone.

@Bikouchu35: Intel still makes the best gaming CPU. And I’m not intel fanboy. I’ve been 100% Ryzen since Ryzen has been a thing. Facts are facts

Its within margin error for a lot of games and in practicality sense ryzen is the better choice anyway. I'm assuming this is a sh*t posting thread anyway, so I shall add on to this.

TCL makes good cheap tv. I got one for $250 and its great, but it can only accept hdr and not really produce true hdr picture. It seems to me price to picture quality ratio is much better with tv than monitors easily.

I prefer pci-e wifi card from my limited experience(bluetooth is also built into the card), also yes get a 5g wifi adapter I honestly don't know of any without it now. I know it isn't fair but I bought a cheap usb and it sucked, overheated, and had latency spike once it got hot. Perhaps a higher end one would be different. I got this small brand called fenvi that has the latest intel ax200 wifi 6 chip and a little wire that leads from the antenna port to the antenna so that it doesn't block the rear vents of your case such as your gpu. You can also build your own if you are really cheap, you just need the card/antenna, wifi/bt chip ex. 9260 or ax200 by intel, and maybe those little adhesive heatsinks.

I keep forgetting Sony doesn't. They pretty much had to or else Disney may pull a fast one.
